COMO LAKE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | VILLA DEL BALBIANELLO - LISA +TONY - PART 1

This was one of the most crazy and funny engagement session we have ever had.

Imagine to plan an elegant portraits shoot in a very gorgeous villa in Como Lake at the beginning of October.

A great chance to photograph something different from the engagements we have shooted in the past.

But the rain was not in our plan. The weather forecast didn't give us any hope but Lisa and Tony were very determinated.

They flew from NYC only for the weekend to have it, so no chances to change their plan.

They wanted to have some shoots on the lake and other more in the city of Milan (we will show you more later in the week), so we spent 2 days together.

On the first day , we were on the Como Lake and we decided to take the ferry to go to Lenno where Villa del Balbianello is.

Once we arrived at the ferry station a really creazy stormrain with lightning and strong wind started, but nothing stopped us.

We arrived at Lenno but there were no shuttles for the villa because the wind, so we decided to have a walk to go there. Pouring rain during our walk there.

Once at the Villa she changed her clothes with a great dress. Rain and wind finally stopped so we could have the session. Lucky at the end!!!

SIKH WEDDING - COMO LAKE, ITALY | INDER + TAJ

It's really hard to describe the feelings and the emotions that this great sikh wedding make us to discover.

New cultures is becoming the best part of this 2016. First Fiji with greek wedding , than indian wedding in New Zealand and now this.

Inder and Taj, a wonderful couple, she's from Canada, he's from London.

We have already shot an indian wedding but this has been totally different. Last one was more quite and intimate, this full of dances and party people.

Day 1: Inside the Serre (greenhouse) in Villa del Grumello in Como, a traditional Sangeet (sikh party) with families and friends.

We discovered a lot of rituals they usually have before the wedding, as women putting veils above bride and groom's heads while families give them food and bracelets to the bride. To end with a lot of dances, but these are real dances, traditional indian music with guests dancing and having fun until late night.

Day 2: at Villa Pizzo , a great italian Villa in Cernobbio (COMO) was a perfect backdrop for this wonderful couple.

At the very early morning the weather was very bad, not a typical temperature for early June. The ceremony was palnned at the Darsena, a breathtaking terrace on the lake, that you can reach after 10 minutes walking from the villa. Unfortunately because the weather the ceremony was set near the villa. But we had the chance to see the Darsena later in the day, in the afternoon with Taj and Inder, we spent a bit of time there taking some couple portraits  while they were having a try for the first dance, alone, enjoying the moment.
