They decided to have their destination wedding in New Zealand and they chose an amazing venue (Mudbrick Vineyard) on Waiheke Island, just 30 minutes by ferry from Auckland.
We loved everything from this wedding, Kristina's dress was great, they celebrate their wedding with a very romantic ceremony watching the sunset from a top of a hill. Superfunny bridal party and a very emotional couple session with a soft and warm light.
They had a really crazy party in the evening that we enjoyed so much, as we love to shoot weddings with different traditions and cultures, this one was full of crazy dances, Macedonian music mixed with Caribbean sounds was a perfect match that every guests enjoyed.
Kristina and Laurent you are special people and we are so prod to have been there with you!

Lily and Alexandra are two very genuine girls with a huge amount of craziness and their friends are no less!!!
We spent all the day watching and documenting all the funny/emotional/crazy things happened in a way like we were there as friends, not only as photographers.
After exchanging their vows under a beautiful secular Pohutukawa tree we had a quick portrait session in the trees then we moved to the venue, perfectly settled for a friendly reception -where the "Donuts Wall" was king- then we got some more "urban" portraits (we always love the architecture and the light of the car parks :D )
All the rest is legend. All night long dancing with a mix of 70's/80's music, cocktails and an undescribable amount of fun.
We feel so blessed to have got this opportunity.

Some days later that portrait session, Katie and Nick finally tied the knot in Waiheke Island which is a fabulous island 30 minutes by ferry far from Auckland, New Zealand.
They decided to have Sophia from My Waiheke Weddings to help them with planning and styling and they choose a magnificent private beach to have a very romantic ceremony on the sand with their closest friends and families.
The magic flower decorations are from the amazing Wild Flower and the breathtaking Katie's dress from Vinka Design.
