BEST OF 2016

This year has been explosive for us, we started with a magical GREEK WEDDING IN FIJI then we walked through New Zealand, our favourite wildest country, to meet fantastic couples who gave us more than we could expect in terms of friendship, love and fun.

After that incredible experience we travelled through NORWAY just to spend a bit of time by ourselves before the wedding season that has been unbelievably full of lovely people, beautiful destinations and of course magical situations to shoot and love stories to tell.

We finished all these in the best way with the nominee from RANGEFINDER MAGAZINE as 30RISING STARS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY 2016. 

So guys, here a totally random selection of all the things we did, have a look, enjoy it and leave a comment ;-)

Also, we want to thank all the couples, the colleagues and the people we have met this year and who gave us something to grow up with.

MILANO ENGAGEMENT, ITALY - LISA + TONY PART 2

Do you remember about Lisa and Tony first part engagement in Como Lake, we have shared with you some images from them and the wonderful Villa del Balbianello some weeks ago, HERE you can find them!!!

This is what happened the day after, we woke up at 5.30 in the morning, we spent the night in the same house on Como lake and than we left to Milan, for the second part of this amazing session.

They wanted to have some pictures in the city too but less formal. So we decided to be there very early in the morning, with no people around, especially in Piazza Duomo, usually a very crouded square, full of turists and local people.

The weather was not very good, but the mood that we had in the photos was amazing.

RANGEFINDER'S 30 RISING STARS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY 2016

It's very hard to describe the emotions we felt on the moment we received Libby's email who said we were nominated as 30 RISING STARS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY in 2016 by Rangefinder Magazine.

We always have been huge fans of this amazing magazine, we really love it, and we enjoy every time having a look on it. We admire the great work from talented photographers they usually share.

Some of our friends and collegues have been nominated in the past years and we cannot believe they really choose us between the 30 names.

This is one of the biggest goals we could achieve in our young career and it's the strongest inspiration and incentive to do it better every time.

We are so grateful and we cannot thank enough all our couples who made this possible, all the people we have met during our adventure, who has always supported us and believe in what we were doing but biggest thank goes to Rangefinder Magazine and all the judges for gave us this great opportunity.

And of course we want so say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the colleagues that made the list with us, you are so talented and a big inspiration for us! Can't wait to meet you in person (or "again" to whom is already friend)!!

COMO LAKE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | VILLA DEL BALBIANELLO - LISA +TONY - PART 1

This was one of the most crazy and funny engagement session we have ever had.

Imagine to plan an elegant portraits shoot in a very gorgeous villa in Como Lake at the beginning of October.

A great chance to photograph something different from the engagements we have shooted in the past.

But the rain was not in our plan. The weather forecast didn't give us any hope but Lisa and Tony were very determinated.

They flew from NYC only for the weekend to have it, so no chances to change their plan.

They wanted to have some shoots on the lake and other more in the city of Milan (we will show you more later in the week), so we spent 2 days together.

On the first day , we were on the Como Lake and we decided to take the ferry to go to Lenno where Villa del Balbianello is.

Once we arrived at the ferry station a really creazy stormrain with lightning and strong wind started, but nothing stopped us.

We arrived at Lenno but there were no shuttles for the villa because the wind, so we decided to have a walk to go there. Pouring rain during our walk there.

Once at the Villa she changed her clothes with a great dress. Rain and wind finally stopped so we could have the session. Lucky at the end!!!
