This year has been one of the most crazy and happy year for us, doing what we love the most: travel and shoot weddings.

We couldn't ask more.

We started the 2016 in the best way, a wedding in Fiji with the great and very talented Danelle Bohane, so happy to call her friend after that experience together.

Then almost 2 months spent in New Zealand, meeting awesome people shooting different cultures and seeing breathtaking places.

In July we had the fortune to shoot a magical wedding in Washington DC, a very romantic one in a rustic venue, a red barn (how many times we dreamt to shoot a wedding in barn like that...) a dream came true.

Then in September we flew to Santorini for a very crazy wedding on a wonderful island, great backdrop for a destination wedding. Thanks to Santorini Glam Weddings for gave us this opportunity!!

Thanks to all the couples we have met this year all around the world to make everything possibile and to let us be there with them!!

What can we say about this wonderful wedding?? a dream came true.

Since the first moment we started this job our biggest dream was to go to the states and shoot a wedding there. and heather and roberto gave us this chance.

The story about how we got in touch with them is a real fortuity. roberto discovered our work from a friend we have in common just two months before their big day and there was immediately a good feeling between us.

We had a funny skype call with them and that was enough to make clear they wanted us as their wedding photographer in the states (we couldn't believe to finally fly to washington d.c.)

The most funny thing about this was the fact that me (laura), i had already planned a suprise for tommy for our anniversary (a trip to paris to celebrate it) the exactly same week of the wedding and this time we couldn't absolutely miss this opportunity. So i told tommy about the surprise and we decided together to celebrate our anniversary in NYC (no way, the best choice we could make).

At the beginning of July we prepared all of our stuff and we flown to Washington D.C.

A very romantic ceremony in the Maryland's countryside and a wonderful dinner in a typical great barn. The emotion and the feelings from the bride and groom were incredible and unforgettable.

Almost sixty guests, a few speeches very toughing and a party after dinner with country music by Ryan Tennis directly from Pennsilvania.

This is one of the sceenary that we have always seen on wedding blogs and that we finally had the chance to shoot and see with our eyes.

Thanks a lot Heather and Roberto, we will never forget you and your wonderful wedding.
